Armchair Travel for the Intrepid (and for physical distancing!)

Since some of us are now faced with lots of time at home, finding some good things to watch on the goggle box has become a high priority. Not only can we take advantage of a bit of extra time, a little light viewing can help ease our minds. What better way to do that than with a bit of armchair travel and with the trend for slow travel, there are some great (and very long) videos that are great for dipping in and out of, in a meditative, mindful way of course! Super Zen!

So let’s go do a bit of armchair travel.

Enjoy the beautiful Norwegian landscapes aboard the renowned Nordland Line (Nordlandsbanen), while you get to choose your favourite season.

Visit Britain’s historic waterways in this uninterrupted journey taking in the Kennet and Avon canal.  it features the sights and sounds of wildlife and the towpath as the boat passes

Enjoy this roadtrip in the NSW countryside, brought to you by the Audi A6. Four hours of quiet driving along country roads and highways.

Experience Harbin’s ice Festival… Working in sub-zero temperatures, an army of 18,000 artisans transform an empty lot in Harbin into an extravagant Ice Park bigger than Disneyland, for the biggest winter party in China

Go for a walk in Ikebukoro, Japan. Ikebukuro (池袋) is one of the major hubs in north-western Tokyo. Filled with everything from ample shopping to an abundance of restaurants and entertainment facilities.
